Feeling slightly “Blue”

Felt obliged to write something today as it has been at least a week since I put some thoughts down or photos up.  Feeling slightly “blue” pardon the pun) Unfortunately Carlo’s troops did not pull off the fairy tale result all of SW6 would have liked.

Still, super proud of the Blues for at least making a fight of it up till yesterday. We Ohh so nearly reduced that 15 point deficit which would have seen us sit top of the league, with just two games to play.  Alas, we didn’t turn up and United ran out comfortable, and deserved winners. I doth my cap to the reds, and look forward to next season.  I just hope that Ancelotti gets to stay on and  finish what he started here. A truly world class manager and top bloke to boot, his persona and attitude have helped put Chelsea back in the public eye for all the right reasons. Straight up classy guy, hope Roman has some patience. Few additions and get rid of some the ageing deadwood and we will be back! J

Besides the football, I got to celebrate a very dear friends 32^nd and annoy many people in a beer garden with one of the those polystyrene model spitfires from the 80’s! you know the ones. We got some folk married on Saturday, and spent most of yesterday chilling at home watching episodes of green wing. Also heard some great news that two of our friends have agreed to tie the knot. We are dropping like flies these days!!! Congrats to Faye and Hamden all the same :-p

In other unrelated news, Watched the first three episodes of the new HBO series Game Of Thrones. It’s like a totally more awesome Lord Of The Rings with more tits, more blood, and less gay hobbits. Got tickets to Snopp Dogg play Brighton next weekend! Ohh and If you have a spare half hour watch this new Beastie Boys video. You won’t be sorry I assure you.
